MGX® ATM Concentrator Configuration (MACC)
Length: 5-day Workshop
The MGX® ATM Concentrator Configuration (MACC) is a 5-day instructor-led course that teaches participants how to set up and manage MGX® concentrators attached to BPX or MGX 8850-PXM45 backbone networks. This course includes MGX® 8230, 8250, and 8850-PXM1 switches.
You will learn to:
- Configure MGX® 8230, 8250, and 8850-PXM1 edge switches from isolation into a network that supports circuit emulation, Frame Relay, ATM, voice over ATM, and Layer 3 (IP) services
- Operate and monitor the MGX® network once traffic has been established

Prerequisites:
- WAN Quick Start guide
- BSSC and MAESC courses - These courses are not required prerequisites but learners may find it helpful to have completed one or both of them before this course. Some BPX or MGX® 8850-PXM45 configurations are required to complete the laboratory exercises in this course
- Basic networking concepts and binary and hexadecimal numbering
