IP Backhaul Maintenance and Operations (VZWIP)
Length: 4-day Workshop
This course is custom-designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the IP Backhaul Network. Students completing this course will be able to describe the Wireless IP Backhaul Architecture. The Cisco® 10000 and 6500 series Hardware and IOS® Software Architecture that is used in the Wireless Network will be described in detail. Cisco command line interface (CLI) IOS® commands used to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot will be highlighted throughout the course.
The course begins with Routing Fundamentals including Configuring and Managing OSPF in a Cisco® environment. This is followed by a detailed architectural and operational description of both the Cisco® 10000 and 6500 w/Supe720. The Course is completed with a detailed description of the Protocols, hardware, software, and operational elements specifically associated with the Wireless IP Backhaul Implementation.
Students will learn how to navigate, manage, and operate the CLI of Cisco® routers and switches through the use of Cisco IOS® 12.X operating system.
