CCIE® Storage 10-Day KickStart

Length: 10-Day Boot Camp

CCIE® Storage 10-Day KickStart is an intensive 10-day training program designed especially for SAN Systems Engineers, SAN Architects, and SAN Support Engineers. The CCIE® Storage KickStart covers everything you need to become a Cisco® MDS 9000 expert. It's also your first step on the path to becoming a CCIE® in Storage Networking.

Note this class runs 10 business days, there is no class during the weekend.

You will learn to:

After you complete the KickStart, you will be ready for the Cisco® Storage Networking Support Specialist (CSNSS) certification exam - Cisco® first-level storage networking certification. After that, you'll be ready to start preparing for CCIE® certification.

Recommended For:

The KickStart is designed for experienced SAN professionals who have been working with storage networking technologies for at least 2 years.

Prerequisites:

You don't need to know anything about the Cisco® MDS 9000 to take this class, but you will gain the most from the KickStart if you have some experience working with at least one SAN platform and a fundamental understanding of storage networking technologies.

Class Info:

  • Course length is ten days, divided into two parts running Monday - Friday with the weekend off in between.
  • Expect to be challenged starting on Day 1. Practice labs are deliberately designed to be more difficult than the actual exam.
  • Course is a combination of lab & lecture.
  • Students get access to a dedicated rack of equipment.
  • You will gain the most from this course if you understand basic data storage concepts and components, are familiar with networked storage concepts and components, and have worked in storage environments for at least 2 years.
