To become an instructor for Cisco Systems®, candidates must participate in an Instructor Certification Program (ICP). Tech 2000, as part of a joint program run in partnership with the Cisco Instructor Certification and Development Team (ICAD), offers candidates the opportunity to certify as a CCSI.
To become a CCSI, you must first be sponsored or employed by a Cisco® authorized training partner (i.e., Sponsored Organization, Cisco Learning Partner, or Cisco Learning Solutions Partner). Tech 2000 will guide you through the process for instructor certification, which include the following steps:
- Become proficient in a baseline technology (i.e., Routing & Switching)
- Take the course(s) (i.e., ICND or CCNA® Boot Camp)
- Pass the exam(s) (i.e., ICND 640-811 or CCNA Boot Camp 640-801) and pass it at the instructor level based on the CCSI Exam Requirements
- Pass the Instructor Certification Exam
- Tech 2000 offers a 3-day, comprehensive Instructor Preparation course
- Agree and comply with the Cisco Certified Systems Instructor Agreement
Tech 2000 takes care of the rest of the details for you.
