How can I prepare for an exam?

How you learn is up to you. Take a class from the experts at Tech 2000 an Apple Authorized Training Cetner and Cisco Solutions Learning Partner, or self study with our helpful E-Learning modules and Exam Prep iPhone/iPad Applications.

Steps to Certification

1. Prepare for the exam:

* Attend a Course
* Read a Book
* Download and review Skills Assessment Guides and Sample Tests for Mac OS X, Xsan, Final Cut Pro, iLife and iWork
* Review the Apple Certification Program Agreement. You will be asked to accept this Agreement before taking an Apple exam, and if you do not agree at that time, you will still be charged a non-refundable exam fee.

2. Choose a location and register for the exam:

* Apple Authorized Training Centers (AATCs) offer Mac OS X, Xsan, Pro Apps, iLife and iWork exams
* Prometric Testing Centers offer Mac OS X exams and the Final Cut Pro Level One exam (NOTE: when registering for these exams, enter Tech ID: APL12345)
NOTE: Hardware exams are offered only at Prometric Testing Centers and at AATCs who offer Hardware training. Only Hardware exams require an Apple Tech ID - if you do not have a Tech ID, register for one.

3. Take the exam

4. Track and publish your certification progress:

* Certification records for Mac OS X, Xsan, Pro Apps, iLife and iWork are available at the Apple Certification Records System
* Hardware certification records (ACMT, ACDT, and ACPT) are at: certifications.apple.com
