TECH 2000 TO PERFORM TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS FOR BELL ATLANTIC RADSL DEPLOYMENT:

TECH 2000'S SELECTION AFFIRMS ITS POSITION AS INDUSTRY LEADER IN TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL SOLUTIONS FOR STATE-0F-THE-ART TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY

Herndon, VA, July 1, 1998 - Tech 2000 affirms its status as the foremost provider of educational solutions in telecommunications technology with its latest project for Rate Adaptive Digital Subscriber Line (RADSL) services, this one with Bell Atlantic Network Services, Inc. RADSL is a technology that allows high bandwidth data services between end users and their Internet service providers (ISPs). Tech 2000 is one of only a handful of companies in the world both expert in RADSL and able to transfer knowledge of this leading-edge technology to large workforces in a cost-effective manner. Currently, Tech 2000 is training U S WEST's technicians and sales force for the regional carrier's 14-state RADSL deployment.

Tech 2000 is performing training needs analysis for Bell Atlantic's RADSL deployment. One of the results of this analysis, a "task-to-technologies" matrix, matches job functions with technical knowledge needs. Tech 2000 will then identify the most cost-effective training sources, and courses which need to be developed, to teach the technical skills required of network personnel deploying RADSL.

Tech 2000 President George Churchwell said, "Our greatest strength is that we address the overall business objectives of our clients and can transform these objectives into a customized technology training experience. This, and our expertise in the latest technology, is extremely valuable to telecommunications carriers in this competitive environment."

Besides Tech 2000's RADSL projects, the Herndon, Virginia-based firm is contracted to provide comprehensive training services in Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) technology to Bell Atlantic regional operating center provisioning teams. Tech 2000 also designed a telecommunications technology curriculum and currently provides training to systems engineers of Bell Atlantic Federal, the Bell Atlantic organization that serves federal government customers. Previously, Tech 2000 provided training for Bell Atlantic's ATM deployment for the State of West Virginia.

Tech 2000, a leader in providing total business solutions, offers communications technology network design and engineering; LAN/WAN network implementation; customized training seminars, curricula and courseware development; Web-based training and other innovative educational approaches; and professional consulting services.
